You'd have to search Richmond high and low, near and far, to find any evidence of its slavery past, and Doug Wilder had to go to Fredericksburg to get a slavery museum built. But, hey, there's a honking-big statue dedicated to the horses that died during the Civil War on the Boulevard. Richmond, a city that's got its priorities straight.
