In Merry Olde England, Robin Hood stole from the rich to give to the poor. In contemporary Richmond, VA, the poor are too busy robbing from each other to rob the rich. A friend of mine once threw someone who tried to steal his backpack out of a boxcar going 60 miles an hour. Sounds reasonable to me.
